New Stickers, Bookmarks, Prints, Books coming Jan 27!!

Hi friends! I'll be having a new shop update for The Flame That Sings on its public release day, January 27, 2026. Not just the new book, for those of you who missed the crowdfunding, but a BUNCH of other fun stuff, too: stickers, prints, bookmarks, candles, MUGS! Here's a sneak preview of everything new coming to the shop on that Tuesday at 12:01am PST:

The Flame That Sings Paperback

A photo of a white hand holding a paperback book in front of a pink wall. The book is THE FLAME THAT SINGS by Cedar McCloud.

This absolute unit is 550+ pages long, 5.5"x8.5", with a soft touch matte cover. The price of all paperbacks in my shop going forward will be several dollars cheaper than on Amazon or B&N, but I still make more money per book selling directly to you. Plus, option to have the book signed! Media mail shipping is cheap if you only buy the book! (If you want stickers/bookmarks, I suggest you make them a separate order to keep the shipping low. Anything else you might as well combine.)

The Flame That Sings ebook

A mock-up of THE FLAME THAT SINGS cover on an e-reader on a red background

If you're not afraid to load the ebook onto your e-reader or app yourself, I humbly request that you purchase it from me instead of elsewhere! I make 2-3x as much per book this way, which is necessary for survival with these sorts of things.

You'll receive a download link in an email within 24 hours of purchase, and then it's yours forever. No Amazon yoinking books away from you at a moment's notice! Though you can absolutely upload it to your Kindle.

$7.99

Some Upload instructions to bookmark for later:

1. When saving the file, DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE NAME OR EXTENSION (.epub)! Keep exactly as is.

2. Upload manually to the ereader of your choice:

Friend of the Library Mug

A photo of a ceramic mug sitting on a bookshelf. The mug is white with a yellow handle, the design on it the words "Friend of the Library" surrounded by flowers and books.

I mentioned potentially making mugs in a Patreon post a while back, and the idea proved popular, so I went ahead and ordered a few 11oz ones! And I do mean a few: there will only be six available (and one kept for myself of course) since this is a really new item for me and I'm not sure how well it will do.

You can get Eternal Library themed teas to go with it here on Adagio! Their "fandom blends" feature lets you mix teas and bits from their catalog to make custom flavors. I've tested all of these and personally approve, though of course your taste may vary. I don't make any money or points off of these, I just think they're fun, and a tiny bit of the proceeds is donated to either the the Trevor Project or the Autistic Women and Nonbinary Network.

You can get it in cute reusable tins with artwork I recently updated to include all the ingredients. And Adagio has flat rate $3.75 shipping in the continental US and then free shipping at $50 or something, which is really nice. They also have tea balls/strainers and fillable bags if you're not already set up for looseleaf tea.

Friend of the Library Sticker

A photo of a white hand holding a sticker in front of a pink wall. The sticker is the text "Friend of the Library" surrounded by books. Text in yellow starburst: SHIPS FREE

I liked the mug design so much I also made it a sticker! Ships free, although if you only get stickers/bookmarks they won't have a tracking number. Shipped with anything else, there will be tracking.

Still Here Redwood Tree Sticker

A photo of a white hand holding a sticker in front of a pink wall. The sticker is a watercolor painting of a redwood tree with fire burning out the bottom, with red text reading "still here." Text in yellow starburst: SHIPS FREE

I've gotten to visit both the coastal redwoods in northern California and those down here in Sequoia National Park a few times now, which has long been a bucket list item for me. My love of redwoods has been extended into the PNW-inspired setting of the Eternal Library series and especially TFTS: Aeronwy's "astral landing space" is a room inside the trunk of a giant redwood, a thing I came up with while standing inside one!

Redwood trees are extremely resistant to fire and many if not most of the giant trees I saw in Sequoia Nat'l Park had been burned and hollowed out at the bottom--but they still live and THRIVE even so. I find this to be a potent trauma survivor metaphor, so I made this sticker of the idea.

$4

TFTS Themed Scented Candles

Another one mentioned in a previous post! These mini 1 oz scented candles are high quality 100% vegan soy wax and have a burn time of about 10-15 hours.

Scents:

  • Friend of the Library: parchment, dust, ink. A subtle, delicate scent that becomes more obvious as it burns, like a good book.

  • Mentor Figure: rose and old books. Floral with an underlying note of leather for TFTS’s mentor, Catrina Rosefall.

  • Flamekeeper: fire, vanilla, books. Smoky and a little sweet for TFTS’s narrator, Aeronwy.

$8

Libraries are Forever Linocut Bookmark

I actually carved the print block for this design months ago (more than a year ago??) but only recently printed it! A fitting bookmark to go with your Eternal Library paperbacks, not only in theme but since all of the Illuminator characters do printmaking themselves.

$4

Holographic Abstract Watercolor Bookmarks

Accessibility description: A white hand holding a variety of abstract watercolor bookmarks that sparkle in front of a pink wall, in bright light where the sparkles are very noticeable, and more subtle in regular light.

I have a lot of fancy watercolor paper scraps from cutting down the big sheets I buy, so I thought I'd upcycle them into bookmarks! They were already pretty neat on their own with just the paint and rounded corners; then I found these holographic lamination sheets and I knew it would be a perfect match. They're double sided and should last a long time. The sparkles are a lot more noticeable in bright natural light than low indoor light.

Mixture of sizes, most around 2-3" wide and 6-8" long. You'll be able to choose exactly which one you like with pictures of the back and front.

These also ship free!

"Fox & the Bluebird" Print

A photo of a handmade linocut print surrounded by books. The print features a red fox and bluebird with flowers on top of a book page pasted to handmade recycled paper with flower petals in it

As per The Tale That Twines, Aeronwy's favorite folksong is "Fox and the Bluebird," a few verses of which appear in Chapter 11. I wrote this as background for the part in The Thread That Binds where everyone turns into animals on the astral and older Aeronwy and June are, respectively, a fox and a bluebird, and seem amused by it/referencing something in a way Amane doesn't understand.

So I made a print based on that! On a combination of my own handmade recycled paper and pages from my unbound proof copy of The Flame That Sings (don't worry, no books were harmed, haha). The text behind each print is therefore a unique page from the book, and they're all from scenes that focus on Aeronwy and June's relationship. This is perhaps the fanciest lino print I've made thus far, and I'll have a video about it on YouTube and Patreon later!

8.5"x11" on handmade recycled paper with eco-friendly inks, signed and numbered.

$28

Original "Book Hearted" Print

A photo of a handmade linocut print in black and red on toned paper. The print features Aeronwy from the Eternal Library Series seated on a low wall, reading a book in front of a courtyard filled with books.

This print was sold during the TFTS crowdfunding campaign, which finally fully paid off my investment in my fancy lino press 😂. I wasn't sure how many would end up being ordered, so I made extras, and now they'll be available in the shop!

8.5"x11" archival printmaking paper with eco-friendly inks, signed and numbered.

$20

Black & Blue Edition "Book Hearted" Print

A photo of a handmade linocut print in white and blue ink on black paper. The print features Aeronwy from the Eternal Library Series seated on a low wall, reading a book in front of a courtyard filled with books.

The paper I bought for the original version of this print came in a variety pack of colors, including black, which I had set aside at first. Later I decided to use for a second version with white and blue ink, and here it is!

8.5"x11" archival printmaking paper with eco-friendly inks, signed and numbered.

$20

WELL, that's a LOT of stuff coming to the shop soon!

With this I'm testing out how these sorts of shop drops might work for my business going forward in 2026, especially for years where I'm finally not slated to have a crowdfunding campaign. Did you know I've had a crowdfunding campaign every year since 2016, except for 2022? Yeah. Yeah.....😴😵💜! Scary for my wallet to skip a year, but good for my brain and body.

If you get something from this drop, I hope you love it! If it's not in your budget, no worries, of course. We're all feeling the squeeze these days. I just like to make stuff. Thank you all for your wonderful continued support! I literally couldn't do this without y'all 💖.

Reminder: this update is coming Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 12:01am PST! See you there! 💜
