New Patreon Mail Club & Tier Upgrades!

Hello, friends! Today, some exciting news: I'm updating my paid Patreon tiers to include more cool stuff for you all to enjoy!

Don't worry, the free post offerings are not changing! I'm not putting anything behind a paywall that wasn't there already.

Patreon's recent free membership is possibly the best thing they've added since allowing multiple images in an image post way back in the day--I'm psyched to have 160+ of you here, enjoying things I would have posted to social media in the past, that these days would just...go entirely unseen and unappreciated. So, that content isn't changing! 💜 If you haven’t already joined us over there for art and writing posts, behind the scenes and worldbuilding blogs, early sale updates, etc, you can do so totally for free.

After running this space casually for the past two years, though, I'm ready for some updated offerings in the paid tiers. Here's what's going on:

$2 - General Support Club

This tier will remain the same! As it stands, this is my general tip jar, for folks who don't need anything fancy or extra beyond the weekly free posts and just want to chip in a little to support the work I’m making.

Though you will also still get, as I've been offering for the past couple of years:

• Occasional exclusive special paid posts like early access vlogs, wallpapers, Edible Empire ARC downloads, etc.

• (In fact you can currently find an eARC of Edible Empire #2, Adventurers Kneaded, in the archives if you sign up for any of the paid tiers! It doesn’t officially release until June.)

$3 - Has been unpublished

There are only a couple people still on this tier--I contacted the few folks here ahead of time to let them know about the change. It's not very popular, so it's being removed for tidiness, basically, so there aren't too many confusing options.

If you are still on the $3 tier, please edit your membership (to whatever new tier you like, even if it's a downgrade) to ensure you continue to have access to everything!

$5 - Secret Blog Club

The $5 tier is getting an upgrade! Yay! If you're already in this tier, you don't need to do or change anything. You'll start getting the new rewards as soon as next week.

Want an even deeper look into my writing and artmaking process? This tier will receive a monthly, in-depth blog about my current creative projects, featuring exclusive excerpts, tutorials, and/or similar content.

You also get to weigh in once a month on polls to help name characters, pick new product designs, etc!

Also receives all the same free content and occasional special content as the previous tier.

$5 rewards are now:

• Occasional special paid posts like early access vlogs, wallpapers, Edible Empire ARC downloads, etc.

• Exclusive monthly in-depth writing/artmaking blog with book excerpts and/or tutorials.

• Monthly exclusive poll to name minor characters & give feedback on writing projects/new merch.

I've just finished writing Edible Empire #3 and am currently working on Eternal Library #4, so if you want to see more deeply into those processes, this is for you!

$10 - Snail Mail Club

This is a brand new tier offering that's been in the works for a while! If you love getting physical mail and have the extra cash, this one's for you. You'll get:

• Occasional special paid posts like early access vlogs, wallpapers, Edible Empire ARC downloads, etc.

• A monthly in-depth writing blog with excerpts--the sort of stuff I usually save for my fellow author friend circle.

• 1-2 of the following in the mail: a sticker, a postcard print, a zine, and/or a bookmark! Usually it will be two things, but if it's a larger zine it may be a single reward.

• Shipping is included, and international patrons are welcome!! Everything goes in an envelope with a regular stamp.

In fact, to prepare for this, I already have six months of physical rewards ready and even more planned. That way there's WAY less of a chance for weird delays or pressure.

Here's what you can expect to receive:

March

1. Sparkly "Emotional Support Book" vinyl sticker! These came out twice as big as I expected them to and SO INCREDIBLY SPARKLY.

2. "Dreamwalker" Tabby illustration postcard print. I did this painting, as well as the other single character postcards, a couple of years ago. I thought it might be nice to have a set of illustrations of the original trio from TTTB 😊

All the postcard prints are actual postcards, with this design on the back to encourage you to write on it and send it to a friend or loved one, if you're not keeping it for yourself! My partner and I leave each other postcard messages around the house all the time, without even mailing them, though we used to back when we were long distance. It's a great easy way to keep in touch with folks.

April

1. "CROMCH" bread vinyl sticker, in honor of Adventurers Kneaded (Edible Empire #2) releasing in June! Paperback preorders are coming to the shop soon, probably.

2. "Tea Time" Rhiannon illustration postcard print. Another slightly older illustration I really like. Originally meant to depict things from Chapter Two of TTTB.

May

1. Sparkly caterpillar bus vinyl sticker. Inspired by a "Bus Xing" sign I saw with a bus icon that made me think of a caterpillar 💚

2. "Cartomancer" Amane illustration postcard print from the same unfinished series as the other two!

June

1. "Pets of the Library" mini zine! Half of these pets haven't even shown up yet, but they will. Enjoy the peek into the future of the critters of the Eternal Library. Twenty pages, black and white.

2. Smoky the Cat linocut bookmark--I haven't printed them yet, but here's the carved lino block!

Certain backers of the TFTS crowdfunding campaign received a digital short story about this fluffy feral black cat that Aeronwy adopts (or is adopted by?) in the time between Book 3 and 4. Even if you're not familiar, who doesn't love a silly cat illustration??

July

1. "Time and Again" 6"x4" postcard print. A tiny little Eternal Library patchwork, from my much bigger 22"x30" painting!

2. Aeronwy and June "Grumpy/Sunshine" vinyl holographic foil sticker. I wasn't sure if people would want this one and ordered less of it than the other stickers, but when they arrived, I realized it's my favorite. Typical! 😂

August

1. Aeronwy and June OTP Drawing Prompt zine, 5"x7", black and white interior, 20 pages plus cover.

I did about half of these prompts last year and posted them, and recently decided I'd like to finish the prompt list--the remaining drawings will be exclusive to the zine! Like all the zines, I'm printing these at home and putting them together myself. DIY!!

Further months' rewards to be announced as we get closer to them!

Important info about this tier:

• Rewards will be sent during the first week of the following month, once I've received payouts. So, March rewards ship the first week of April, etc.

• Rewards will be sent in a stamped envelope, so there is no tracking. If they don't arrive after 2 weeks in the US or 4 weeks international, send me a message.

• Any leftover stock of each reward will be made available in my shop in the nearest shop drop/update after it's been sent to $10 patrons. This tier isn't so much about exclusivity as it is about getting fun, regular, expected mail for your generous support!
