Welcome to Numinous Spirit Press!

Numinous Spirit Press was established in 2017 by Cedar McCloud to publish the Numinous Tarot, a colorful, queer, nonbinary take on the classic arcana—though it didn’t go by that name until 2020. Since then, NSP has continued to be the place to find Cedar McCloud’s various divination decks as well as their adult fantasy novels. The goal of all of these works is to share colorful stories and artwork which center and uplift neurodivergent people, queer people and trauma survivors while striving to present a diverse, anticapitalist, antiracist, intersectional take on society.

Tarot and Oracle Decks

Numinous Spirit Press currently has three available divination decks, with a fourth in progress! You can find all three existing decks in our shop or with small retailers listed on the pages for each deck. Each deck is lovingly painted by hand by Cedar in vibrant inks and watercolors, which are then printed on quality cardstock and packaged with guidebooks for your enjoyment.

The Magic Pantry Tarot

The newest deck by NSP! The Magic Pantry Tarot is a deck themed around food, for the home cook or anyone who loves to eat! Food is a powerful force in our world, a necessity for life which is also a major basis for culture and community. The Magic Pantry Tarot combines deck creator Cedar McCloud’s personal experience as a home cook who loves food with their signature brightly hued watercolor paintings and thoughtful, multicultural approach to Tarot symbolism.

This deck focuses largely on single ingredients and is vegan/vegetarian friendly, fat-positive/body-positive, as well as containing no depictions of alcohol.
